• Sanne Weckx was born in Mol, Belgium.

She studied painting in Antwerp at the Karel de Grote-Hogeschool;

she enjoyed for one year advanced training at KdG and Kunsthogskolen i Bergen, Norway;

After that she studied photo art in Antwerp at the current Artesis college.

 

 

She has been working in education her whole proffessional live. She still does.

At the moment she teaches major class photography in Antwerp and at the academy of fine arts, Hasselt.

 

She has been creative all her life. She spents all her free time drawing, creating, painting, playing piano.

After her secondary studies, she resolutely chose art, photography and painting.

In her photographic work you will find both analogue and digital images, in her paintwork she uses mixed techniques as aquarelle, acryl and oils. Also sketches.

• Sanne Weckx werd geboren in Mol, België.

Ze studeerde schilderkunst in Antwerpen aan de Karel de Grote-Hogeschool;

Voor 1 jaar volgde ze een voortgezette opleiding aan KdG en Kunsthogskolen i Bergen, Noorwegen;

Daarna studeerde ze fotokunst in Antwerpen aan de huidige Artesis hogeschool.

 

 

Heel haar professionele leven werkt ze al in het onderwijs. Dat doet ze nog steeds.

Momenteel geeft ze hoofdvak fotografie in Antwerpen en aan de Academie voor Schone Kunsten Hasselt.

 

Ze is haar hele leven al creatief geweest. Ze besteedt al haar vrije tijd aan tekenen, creëren, schilderen, piano spelen.

Na haar middelbare studies koos ze resoluut voor kunst, fotografie en schilderkunst.

In haar fotografisch werk vind je zowel analoge als digitale beelden, in haar schilderwerk gebruikt ze gemengde technieken als aquarel, acryl en olieverf. Ook schetsen.

 

Verschillende onderscheidingen en tentoonstellingen volgden daarna.
